The association
Allié Santé is an association of citizens, patients and carers who are committed to bringing about change in healthcare and care provision. Christine Belhomme, its president, is a former carer who witnessed the therapeutic limitations of conventional medicine and wanted to raise public awareness of the experiences of patients using complementary therapeutic approaches to better manage their illness and improve their chances of recovery. She therefore produced this documentary, which shows how certain medical facilities in France offer inclusive care pathways incorporating complementary medicine.
The Foundation, a sponsor of the documentary since 2023, actively supports its distribution throughout France. In doing so, it helps the general public discover what the medicine of tomorrow might look like: a form of medicine that is more patient-centred, holistic, and focused on both better healing and better overall health.
