Video report at Dimbleby Cancer Care

Emma Tyrer and the Dimbleby Cancer Care team have been awarded the René-Maurice Gattefossé International Prize 2022 for the quality of their service to cancer patients at Guy’s hospital. Each year 5000 patients benefit from their complementary care to better manage anxiety, nausea, sleep problems and fatigue. They use 10 aromatherapy protocols for different indications by olfaction or massage. They have also shown adaptability during the COVID19 closure period by creating relaxation webinars, an aromastick service for patients, but also for medical staff!

The Foundation made a video report at Dimbleby Cancer Care Center to show how Emma Tyrer uses aromatherapy and the benefits it brings to her patients.

The prize will be used to develop and finance clinical research within their service.
