A biologist by training, Michel Pidoux spent part of his professional career in Madagascar. It was there that he discovered Saro essential oil and its benefits.
After obtaining interesting results during the COVID-19 pandemic, Michel decided to evaluate the effectiveness of a protocol for diffusing Saro essential oil in the corridors of nursing homes to reduce winter respiratory infections.
In 2024-25, two nursing homes in Maine-et-Loire participated in this study for eight weeks. The results show a fivefold reduction in the number of infections when the floors benefit from diffusion.
