The hospital is committed to aromatherapy and has introduced a training policy comprising 20 sessions, training 160 healthcare professionals. They are using aromatherapy for many applications as shown in the poster.<\/p><p><br \/><strong>The team at the haemodialysis centre assessed the effectiveness of essential oils in treating haematomas caused by arteriovenous punctures during haemodialysis.<\/strong> The clinical study involved 30 patients, divided into three groups testing different solutions:<br \/>&#8211; True lavender, cypress, peppermint in arnica vegetable oil.<br \/>&#8211; Italian helichrysum in apricot kernel vegetable oil<br \/>&#8211; Apricot kernel vegetable oil &#8211; no EO<br \/>Each patient applied the mixture to their haematoma for 7 days, with rigorous follow-up to measure changes in pain and reduction in the size of the haematoma.
