Its mission is to promote rigorous standards for the writing and evaluation of scientific literature in aromatherapy.<\/p><p>As part of this initiative, ARQAT has developed an evaluation tool specifically for clinical studies in aromatherapy: the <b>TREATS<\/b> (<i>Transparent Reporting for Essential Oils &amp; Aromatherapeutic Studies<\/i>) checklist.
