Elodie and the Aroma team at the Hopital de la Croix Rousse (Julianne Oddonne, pharmacist, Aurore Robert-Verd, pharmacy assistant, Virginie Dumont, Georges Halvadjian and Valérie Rondot, nurse officers) have implemented three aromatic protocols for patients in the hepato-gastrology, ENT and chemotherapy services. The medical and paramedical teams offer aromatic sticks in order to improve comfort and limit the undesirable effects of certain drug treatments.
This project also aims to improve the quality of life at work for the medical teams with special protocols with diffusers in the treatment rooms.
The Foundation’s grant allows this aroma team to finance the development of this approach in other services and to do basic training on aromatherapy to the nursing staff.
